Twins fighting in their mother's womb is not something that people get to see every day. A new video taken by cinematic MRI has been released and it shows two babies fighting for space inside their little cocoons. On Dec. 2,International Science Times reported that "fetal feuds" are actually quite common. However, this is the first time that such video has been captured.
"Never before have internal interactions between fetuses been observed by doctors and scientists with this much depth or clarity. The implications of this groundbreaking development could change the way that we diagnose the health and behavioral well-being of single fetuses or the pairs of them belonging to lucky parents," iScience Times reports.
Twins fighting in the womb is certainly something amazing to watch. However, researchers and doctors are far more thrilled with the hope that they may be able to see even more with this new technology. Of course this is all still very new and this type of MRI will not be readily available for every pregnant woman. However, the prospect of detecting brain injuries and other potential serious issues that an ultrasound can't is promising.

As with any technological dvance, this has its downsides as well. Doctors could also find "tiny anomalies" and explainable things that could prove to be alarming... but, as i Science Times points out, this would only cause more stress to the mom-to-be.
For now, twins fighting in the womb is a video that has quickly gone viral. It is very cool to see and many are very excited about the possibilities for pregnant women and technology in the future.
