One of the normal functions of the body is to reject foreign matter. That is why when surgeons do a transplant, whatever the organ being transplanted—lung, liver, kidney—they give the patient certain drugs to make sure that the body does not reject the new part.

The only instance where the body does not reject a foreign object is in the bearing of a child.

When a child is in the womb, it is a total parasite, taking its nourishment entirely from the mother. Yet it is completely accepted and protected. What is it that brings this protection? The answer is the amniotic fluid, which allows the fetus to grow for its period of nine months.

Each of us has this same amniotic fluid in our lives. It is called the mikveh, and as I have mentioned before, the mikveh is a pool of water that we immerse ourselves in for spiritual cleansing. The ancient writings tell us that every time we enter the mikveh, we must fully submerge our body in its water. The reason for this is that energetically, entering the mikveh like returning to the amniotic fluid of the womb, to that protective space.

At this stage in our lives, however, the amniotic fluid is not about facilitating growth. To grow means that we ourselves need to apply the spiritual tools that we have; in other words, we must use our own resources to spiritually evolve ourselves. The purpose of the mikveh is to allow us a place of protection from the negative energies that are around us. The water of the mikveh brings us back to a place of neutrality and protection.

Tonight we enter a period of seven days called Sukkot, and the amniotic fluid for us during this period is called the sukkah. The sukkah acts as a protective shield that comes from Above. This shield is the powerful Light of the Creator, which enters our world through the sukkah, allowing us to breathe in the Lifeforce Energy so that we can use the spiritual tools at our disposal to further our spiritual growth.

As the mother is to the child, the Light of the Creator is to us on earth, and the sukkah allows us to draw upon that protection. The sukkah acts exactly like a mikveh, allowing us the time and space to draw spiritual energy and to learn how to use it for our benefit through the tools that we use now and for the whole year to come.

Hablará de democracia cuándo calló ante el tirano?  Emisario de Fidel y que casualidad es, que antes de USA a Cuba fue.  Traerá de regalo a Obama el libro del predicador musulmán que fue profesor de Obama y a cambio le darán las llaves de Wall Street Stock ....? Volkswagen is in hot motor oil after it admitted to cheating on U.S. air pollution tests for years, risking billions in potential fines and heavily shaking investor confidence. Shares in Frankfurt plunged as much as 22% on the news, the steepest intraday decline in almost seven years, wiping out $18B in market value and extending the stock's slump for the year to 32%. "I personally am deeply sorry that we have broken the trust of our customers and the public," Volkswagen (OTCQX:VLKAY) CEO Martin Winterkorn said in a statement.

"Why do the Committee's policy settings remain so far from normal when the objectives have essentially been met? The Committee has not, in my view, provided a satisfactory answer to this question." Bullard also described the meeting as "pressure packed," and said the decision to hold rates steady was "a close call."

The U.S. and China are negotiating what could become the world's first arms control agreement for cyberspace, with each country committing not to be the first to use the weapons to cripple the other's critical infrastructure during peacetime. The proposed accord would address attacks on power stations, banking systems, cellphone networks and hospitals, but would not protect against most of the cybercrimes China has been accused of conducting, including the widespread poaching of intellectual property and the theft of millions of U.S. government employees' personal data.

Malaysia's ringgit - Asia's worst performing currency of the year - is expected to show some recovery once issues surrounding indebted state fund 1MDB are resolved, the country's central bank governor Zeti Akhtar Aziz announced today. Prime Minister Najib Razak has been fighting for political survival after leaked documents showed he received some $700M in his private accounts from entities linked to the fund. No somos uribistas, pero reconozco su misión y acción en pro de su nación.
Hoy lo dicho por el sector político en peologia quedo, al ver que la derrota de terrorismo era el proceso logico de paz. No podremos tener paz sin un derrotado, rendido y sometido ante la ley.
Paises gestores y de moderadores ante el acuerdo de la habana son apologos al delito y crimen de este cartel narcoterrorista.
Porque no nombro como garantes del acuerdo y asi es, pues es un pacto entre Enrique, Fidel y GMarquez, a la corte penal internacional que seria el mejor árbitro de la justicia, unica herramienta de paz.
Cobarde un congreso que se entrega ante un estado rigido y totalitario que solo tiene un destino y es quebrantar la nacion en sus pilares demócratas y sus valores sociales.
No hay que ser uribista para amar a Colombia y defender sus valores democráticos y no aceptar un pacto apalancado en Narcoterrorista que compran la moral de oportuno peologo .
No tenemos que ser Uribistas para exigir la renuncia del cobarde y apologo del crimen que brinda con sus comprados apologos la impunidad del enemigo de una nacion.

Global equities were roaring higher at the time of writing following an uptick in eurozone GDP growth and contrasting German and Chinese trade data (see below). While the data was good in Europe, it was poor in China, although the figures have no doubt sparked hopes of more loose economic policy in the country - hence the rise in stocks. However, oil was adding to yesterday's sharp losses amid concerns about the economy - notwithstanding today's equity markets - and flailing attempts to curb oversupply.

Chinese imports fell for the tenth month in a row, tumbling a greater than expected 13.8% in August vs consensus of -8.2% and a drop of 8.1% in July. Exports dived 5.5% vs -8.3% previously. The fall in imports reflects lower global commodity prices and sluggish internal demand. While for many observers the dollar trade figures will do little to allay worries about China's stumbling economy, research firm Capital Economics reckons that "trade has actually been quite healthy recently in volume terms."

German exports recovered to climb 2.4% on month in July after dropping 1.1% in June and blew past consensus of +0.7%. Imports grew 2.2% vs -0.8%, while the trade surplus rose to a record €22.8B from €22.1B. However, the numbers come a day after data showed that industrial output slowed in July and after GDP missed forecasts.

Eurozone Q2 GDP growth has been revised up to 0.4% on quarter from an initial estimate of 0.3%, boosted by household consumption and exports. GDP expanded 0.5% in Q1.

While the eurozone's GDP grew better than first thought, Japan's economy contracted an annualized 1.2% in April-June vs an initial estimate of -1.6%. However, capital expenditure fell 0.9%, more than the original estimate of 0.1%, clouding growth prospects.

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has won a rare second three-year term as the President of his Liberal Democratic Party after a potential rival was unable to muster enough sponsors to launch a challenge in a vote. While Abe wants to "spread the feeling of recovery to every nook and cranny of the regions," the 1.2% fall in GDP in Q2 suggests that his radical reform program is stuttering. Still, Abe's victory represents a rare period of stability in Japan's often turbulent political scene.
